Why a picture of a huge ass lighthouse with a big NO NO sign over it? This post brought to you by the douche canoe known as Lighthouse rentals. Lighthouse Bruh, took my land a day early, returned all my prims, slandered me via second life groups, and was nothing but rude, crude, and vile to me on the occasions we spoke.

Equalizer Typer for Lazy Sunday

So a new designer friend of mine made this awesome item. It's a equalizer typing animation over-rider. He asks if he can sell it in my store.. my response.. OMG YES PLEASE!@# So Boof proudly presents the creations of Malacath Kirkorian. His creations are spawned under the title of M.A.L. (Majorly Awesome Look) and *Boof.

So this is the typer! Notice it comes in two sizes, one is perfect for adult avvies, and the smaller version is perfect for you smaller folks out there.
It also has color change options! 12 seperate colors or rainbow.(I personally adore the rainbow option.. gee I wonder why?) You can also adjust the brightness, glowy affects!
And as if this wasn't enough it spins about you and the blox randomly fluctuate from different sizes just like a stereo display.

Candy Canes disappear at an alarming rate and no one quite knows why.. the latest caper loud slurping noises could be heard in one of the back rooms and ominous green and red stains were later seen on an innocent bystanders face.. or so she said.

Okay so seriously I love candy canes, that's why I've built so much stuff for and with them in the past years. So of course they provided the inspiration for this weeks Lazy Sunday Item.

I can remember a time in my life when I would scramble home from school to plop down for endless hours of entertainment from a certain set of brothers. Our adventures would take us many places. It's almost like we grew up together.

They really were like my little babysitters when I was a kid and Nintendo was one of the only things I looked forward to and with so much enthusiasm. It was like.. if I felled one more koopa, broke one more block, or smooshed one more goomba my troubles would just slip away, and happily they did more often than not. If you've been a customer of my store for awhile then I'm sure you've noticed my love for anything Mario related. So it's only fitting that I made them into the latest items! Mario and Luigi Snowmen!

These cute snowmen are 13 Prims (without the blocks above their heads) and are my latest edition for Lazy Sunday. They are copiable, mod, no trans. The set is 75L and the blocks are included.

After many years of head desking because of a looming deadline along with trying to get new releases to you guys I've found I stress myself out way too much in trying to keep John Q. Public happy with the originality of my designs and the frequency with which they are released. Which in my mind goes something like this:

Derpina Boof presents a new designer for Boof! One that is just right on par with my type of crazy. Hanley Speiser a long time friend and all around good guy came up with some ideas that left me all... YAY happy faced about and I know long time Boof Customers will appreciate his kind of mind as well. With that, our first co-release will be this Friday. I am so excited and I'm sure you will be too once you see all the crazy ideas he's came up with for the store.

Okay so.. ever had a friend obsessed by a movie? Like so obsessed that they then in turn buy all the movie's paraphernalia that they get their grabby little hands on? Well.. my friends have called me that before. 'The Mini Movie Monster' in that I cannot go a 5th of November w/o watching V for Vendetta like.. all day. I still have my tickets from the first time I saw it, (framed, might I add!), and have a signed pic of Nata and Hugo in their V for Vendetta gear. *Swoons* I have a little shrine of it in my room. The signed autograph, the tickets, a framed pic of the comic graded and in mint condition, my copies of the graphic novel. Yes.. copies because I've totally worn out the first one by reading it so much. A little figurine of V.. okay lots more but you get the picture right? So I woke up.. realized this was the 5th of November and I in my lazed haze had yet to formulate anything for V on Second Life? I am a horrible fan! After chastising myself for hours I came up with a plan! V shall live to spread his anarchy in SL, so I proudly present:

Well as I live in East Tennessee I can only say that most of my experiences with bats have been in the negative category. The Summer before last, I was raft guiding on the Pigeon River.

2-Live Wildwater Crew

Okay so having went completely off point from where I was going.. I swear I'm making a point. To say that when I was living at the Guide Communal Cabin.. (with all the crazies above may I mention) We had small hostel type rooms for each of us. So mine was in the loft of this cabin. Needless to say there is something that attracts bats to me.. (like they are mini vampires and are out to suck my blood. I just know it, I even named one of my regular winged visitors Dracula) So paranoia aside.. because the lil bloodthirsty fiends always seemed to swoosh up to my face at regular intervals when attempting to sleep. I took to sleeping with a pillow on my head and carrying a bad-mitten raquet with me at all times while in the house. If you've ever seen the movie 'The Great Outdoors' you'll know what I mean about sonar guided rodents and this pic.

So, with bad-mitten weapony goodness in hand, I would trapse about in the night with not a care in the world. So inspired by my real life terrors for Halloweeny goodness I present:

Lazy Sunday @ Boof : Thing 1 and Thing 2 Costumes

Remember when you were a kid and wished you could be a Thing from the Cat in the Hat story? Yes or no.. I know I recall wanting to be one of those wild crazy lil blue froed things running around everywhere and causing all sorts of trouble.. Not much different from what I do now, sans the blue fro irl. (If only my hair would stay up that way!) But I digress. These are the new costumes from Boof. Thing 1 and Thing 2 from the classic story.

By the way.. I don't think I'll ever make hair again.. so enjoy this fricking fro. I HATED MAKING IT!

The Duck Hunt.. Angel style!

My Duck Hunt Set. This comes with a myriad of objects and stuff! There are full perm angel outfits so you can your friends can pose. 2 sculpted shot guns (with smoke so it looks like it was just fired) with no copy permissions so you can pass them out to people getting their pics done. Also the props include a large cloud photo sphere, 2 sculpted clouds, 3 ducks (2 of them flying away and one.. that well.. look at the pic!) There is an emoter hud included to snap pics with, a box with the props inside, and the outfits inside it, a box with just the poses themselves. I can still remember where I was when the Twin Towers were struck that fateful day. My mother woke me up because I had worked late the night before. She was almost in tears and said tenderly, I think you should come watch this Mist. I got up and sat down with her for about 5 minutes when the 2nd plane struck. We held each other and I could feel the tears running down my face as I hugged my mother and she hugged me. I don't think that haunted feeling will ever leave my heart. Yet, despite this tragic event we bonded as a country, Americans, not race boundaries, not foreign, we were a country united. Even though we suffered a horrible loss of innocent lives that day, we will never forget what happened, so they will live in our memory and our hearts. I wish we could live in a world without pain and strife, put our differences aside. I will never give up my optimistic nature for cynicism and negativity. I do believe there is good in this world, you just have to search sometimes to find it.

Male and Female Angel Outfits. As I feel a lot of angel costumes are overdone I went for something new. Muted colors in every day outfits. As you can see both sets come with wings and halos. Wonderland Hunt started today

The Very Merry Un-Birthday set from Boof. This set includes a long table with teacups, cake slices, a dormouse teapot (it gives teacups) , cake (Gives slices), 4 tiny chairs that work well with both child and adult avatars, a floating chandelier that when clicked gives off glitter over the table top. Also included are presents that hand out checkered balloons, wonderland themed party hats and play cards for your mouth.

Now what I'm know for, the mouth teabag. Nicely sculpted with shading delicately done. The teabag reads Are you Mad? Tea Outfitters.

I always adored the dormouse from the stories and have wanted a pet for a long time! So Here he is in his little 'home' for you to carry about. The handheld pot is animated and both the shoulder and hand pets blink at random intervals.

Finally the Wonderland headgear. This comes with the mad hatter's hat, white rabbits ears, Alice's bow, and the Cheshire Cat's ears. All are fully resizable so they are good for children and adults.

I have to say this is one of my favorite things I've built in awhile, as I've always loved Alice in Wonderland so much. Please visit in world at Boof HQ

The Boof will be in a Alice in Wonderland hunt very soon and I wanted to go all out for this build. Why you may ask? Mostly because it was my favorite story to read when I was younger. Aside from Peter Pan, it was my favorite childhood story. The Pic below is the progress I've made on a Very Merry Unbirthday table. There is a lot of texture work to still be done. Along with animated sits and scripted food and drinks but I'm very happy with it so far!

While this little island may look innocent it's not. A lot of work an animating went into this lil doozy. I haven't quite made the pics yet for the ad but there is a lot lot lot that will come with this set. An animated sand castle, 2 animated towels, 2 animated life buoys, a harbor buoy that makes sounds, a beachball that makes wave sounds when touched. An animated palm tree and the Island itself. Also trying to throw in some freebie bathing suits and board shorts for those not so beachly inclined. Oi was this time consuming.

Now while this duck MAY appear innocent, he's anything but. >.< I've never had such horrible lag while trying to script an item to sit on!@#!@ I've affectionately called this build the motherquacker due to how much I cursed it out while attempting to script him. But he is a cute lil fella. You just click to sit and he rotates around. I still wanna stab his kawaii eyes out... Damn deceitful innocent looking creature.

Nyan Cat comes to Boof in 3 Different Forms

As you can most likely see I went a bit Nyan crazy these past few days. Up for sale for only 20 Lindens, the Nyan Cat pets, and Nyan Cat avatar are only 20 L for each box. The Nyan Cats are touch activated to play the Nyan song, and can attach to both your head AND shoulder. While the avatar itself is a tiny one, complete with tiny ao and particles streaming from all of these cats. Also up for free is the Nyan Cat Freebies. This of course comes with a Nyan Cat Poster stating that "It's over Nyan Thousand!" And all these items come with a free Nyan Cat walker that plays the Nyanyanyanyan song every time you walk.

Hours of Annoying pleasure of having your friends say.. SHUT UP!

While it may seem that I'm bubbling in an early watery grave, taking time to reflect that I always make the Jaws theme music no matter where I'm Swimming.. (rl, sl.. bathtub) Anyways! I digress, while it seems that my recent creative outburst of new items has slowed, it has not! I've simply been taking a small breather after making a slew-load of new hunt items. (Boof will be in 3 upcoming hunts and I've worked hard on these newest items for everyone to enjoy. As I either make a large structure or many items for any one hunt I'm in as I feel cheated if when in a hunting sorta mood I feel pissy if I receive items that not much effort has went into! I will most likely be making some new releases next week for your boofy pleasure as I just feel too pooped to prim it up at the moment. And don't worry, the ideas are there, just the time and manpower that goes into it lacking somewhat sadly. (I was on hiatus for a year after all and ideas just kept popping into my brain!) So.. 3 new hunt items coming up for the July month, 2 current hunt items still in store, and new releases to be sliding out of Boof HQ next week, I promise, or you can spank my ass and call me Shirley!

For years I've had this wonderful friend on SL, and I must say we've been on quite the adventures with one another. Our night started with a visit to a AO shop.. were we started annoying the customers gathered with our Call On Me attachments (complete with song and dance) Somehow.. we ended up at this place.. with this guy. That's Hotdogs Miami, friend to purple and single handledly one of coolests ladies I've ever met on SL, roughly wooing our man in the latex business suit. SL truly does have everything -_-

Sadly I'm quite new to the whole blogging experience so I'm going to be requiring massive help from my buddy Slip. (If he shows up dead somewhere floating in SL, you'll know why!) Yet here it is, the Blog for Boof.. Finally. I did what I said I never would! So much is usually going on with my RL and SL that it's hard to maintain any level of sanity and trying to upkeep a blog page.. but I promise I shall do my best.

News for Boof:
As most of you know Boof HQ has moved again to the Zombie Popcorn Sim. (And what a great move for me business wise! The people are most excellent and the sim.. is kicking!)

Most of my Ads are currently being re-done by the most gifted Aeryn Toland. What many of you DON'T know is this. I make items at a startling rate.. then they rot in my inventory for a few weeks until I break down from the constant (but wanted!) poking of me to come out with something new! Because while I love to create items in world.. I hate.. hate HATE making Ads. I don't have an eye for it and I admit this. So! Aeryn's work is something I admire and she's most gracious in helping me in this matter!

In the works are some Goonies Idea's I've been playing around with my buddy Slip.
T-shirts and hoodies (hopefully if I break down and actually make the clothes) With tasteless ideas!
Some Zombie items because I've sadly been on a Zombie kick lately.
